The solar
panel
HYDRA™ 2000 at
natural
water circulation with open circuit functioning
is made of two main parts: a
200 litres
accumulation tank and a solar collector with coil heat
exchanger.
The
accumulation tank is built with
a low carbon contents stainless steel
AISI 304,
with protective coating and insulated with polyurethane
in order to reduce heat dissipation.
The
solar collector is composed of
a
2sqm black selective absorbing surface
(which transfers heat to the copper coil directly connected
to the tank), of a aluminium box and a galvanized sheet
iron humidity resistant between which there is a layer
of polyurethane foam without CFC, as further insulation.
Over the coil there’s a
4mm high transparence,
low iron content,
solar tempered glass,
which gives an
high solar rays penetration up
to 95%.
The panel is at last protected from an
anodized
aluminium frame which further makes the panel
extremely strong and safe also during installation phase.
The whole panel is also sealed with silicone thus granting
the
maximum watertightness.
The solar collector comprises also of a 3atm safety
valve and a vacuum valve.
The
innovative construction of the
new
HYDRA™ 2000 enables to obtain various
important advantages:

the coil, in comparison with the
commonly used vertical collectors, enables a better
efficiency in terms of heat, optimizing also the circulation
-
the collector directly connected
to the lower part of the accumulation tank minimizes
the heat dissipation
-
the aluminium supporting structure
of 4x2cm is simple, lightweight and easy to install.
Istar Solar® therefore supplies
a
complete system which can be put
on the garden, on the balcony, but also on the roof
of the house. In all cases it is advisable to install
it at 45°C, South direction.
The solar panel
HYDRA™ 2000 is mainly
used for sanitary hot water production, for houses and
various civil installations.
Istar Solar® can also supply the
solar collector
HYDRA™ 1500 with 150
litres tank.
